Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson is an American former actor. Elson started her career in the television industry as a model for children and actress. Her best-known role is Alice Tyler, portrayed by Elson on CBS"Sci-Fi. Andrea auditioned for and was awarded the role as Lynn Tanner of the ALF popular show (1986). After many years of working on shows that were a hit, she left the industry to raise her family. Andrea Elson played Lynn Tanner in ALF as the teen daughter to Kate as well as Willie. In the 2000 retrospective of People Elson said developing as an actress of her age in front of a satcom's viewing audience was difficult. When she was in New York City in 1969 Elson was raised within the world of traveling because her father was a travelling salesman. Andrea had lived in New York, Chicago San Diego, as well as Los Angeles before she turned ten. Andrea was able to find an agent in San Diego and won her audition to play the role she wanted for her debut. Fusco stated that ALF was a tycoon aged 285 and was able to drink beer. NBC warned Fusco to stop ALF from drinking in the presence of children as it would be unwise. Fusco believes that ALF did not have the maturity required to drink and drive, was wrong. The year 1995 was the year he was diagnosed with lymphoma. It was treated successfully, and the cancer remained in remission up until 2019. The cancer died on June 26, 2019 in the year 75 in the Lillian Booth Actors Home in Englewood New Jersey.
