Forbes magazine named Addison Rae as the most popular TikToker around the globe in August of 2020. It is also among the most followed people on TikTok. Apart from being famous on TikTok Addison Rae is also extremely famous in other social media platforms like Instagram YouTube and Twitter. In 2021, she made her debut as a performer by releasing her debut single "Obsessed". It peaked at the top of four on New Zealand Hot Singles chart and was the sixth-most trending video on YouTube at the time of it's release. Addison Rae was also nominated for prestigious awards such as The People's Choice Awards, MTV Movie & TV Awards, and Kids Choice Awards.
